Job Duties: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as architecture and engineering or research and development in these fields. Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in architecture or engineering projects. Direct, review, or approve project design changes. Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications. Prepare budgets, bids, or contracts. Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients. Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, or market demand. Review, recommend, or approve contracts or cost estimates. Develop or implement policies, standards, or procedures for engineering and technical work. Direct recruitment, placement, and evaluation of architecture or engineering project staff. Perform administrative functions, such as reviewing or writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, or purchasing of materials or services. Work with various functional leads to come up with robust project plan and ensure that Project Managers are tracking it to closure. Report weekly, bi-weekly and monthly status to various stakeholders in the project/ program . Perform effective provision of network and infrastructure architectural services for all mergers and acquisitions. Set the strategy, principles, and models for how we integrate acquired entities into Cadence Design Systems and guide all solution decisions. Provide technical leadership for all mergers and acquisitions. Submit, review, and approve technical changes, measures, and monitoring. Apply policy and procedures, delegating tasks to the right people across teams, and monitoring progress to ensure satisfactory resolution. Participate in proof-of-concept development to assist in defining technology strategy. Some telecommuting permitted. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States and internationally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum ten (10) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Handling Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) integration work, including designing, planning, directing and reviewing the execution of IT mergers and acquisitions
  • Managing IT infrastructure operations including Network, Unix, and Windows environment
  • Managing SDWAN, WAN, LAN, and WLAN networks
  • Infrastructure architecture, including physical, virtual, cloud servers, storage, database, backup, and recovery
  • Understanding information security aspects, specifically vulnerability analysis, Pentesting, FWs, IR and Forensics, Endpoint security (DG and S1), logging and analytics, domain monitoring, certificates, and external audits
  • Planning budget and overseeing budget usage in multiple projects
  • Ensuring governance for each M&A project
  • Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States and internationally.
