About The Position

Manage and resolve incidents using ServiceNow ITSM; participate in and lead Major Incident responses as needed. Build, maintain, and respond to monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system availability. Develop software fixes, automations, and engineered solutions to prevent recurring issues. Validate and approve software deployments, ensuring zero impact to live Production environments. Document system knowledge, troubleshooting procedures, and recovery processes. Support infrastructure migrations and serve as an SME across Manufacturing IT systems.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
  • Experience in IT operations, incident management, and production system support
  • Proficiency in C# or similar object-oriented programming languages
  • Strong SQL experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle
  • Experience working with REST APIs and web service integrations
  • Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, controlled change/deployment processes, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Source control and DevOps tooling experience (Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Scripting and programming experience (Python, PowerShell, Perl; Angular a plus)
  • Containerization and orchestration knowledge (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
  • Configuration management and service tools experience (Ansible, Consul)
  • Monitoring and logging experience (Splunk or similar monitoring tools, logging frameworks)
  • Systems and data-flow experience (basic Linux and Windows Server administration; NiFi or similar technologies)

Nice To Haves

  • Scripting and programming experience (Python, PowerShell, Perl; Angular a plus)
