About The Position

The IT Software Engineer is responsible for the architecture, design, and maintenance of web and mobile applications. They develop software solutions, monitor assigned systems, review requirements, and participate as a project resource. The IT Systems Software Engineer also provides mentorship and on-call support for application issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • 7-10 years of development/programming work experience
  • Source control, change management and CI/CD systems experience
  • Flexibility with schedule as needed for support and maintenance needs
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Desire and aptitude to learn new skills and technologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to multi-task and work independently

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AWS services is preferred, including Amplify, Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, ECS, S3, Athena
  • Experience with frontend and backend technologies is preferred, including Angular, VueJS, AWS Lambda, Docker, NodeJS, Python, C#/.Net
  • Salesforce development experience optional

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect software and systems to support employees and customers
  • Develop integrations between disparate software systems to improve business processes
  • Monitor the operation of assigned systems and respond to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors
  • Review user requirements and perform analysis, design, implementation, and training for new software
  • Maintain source control repositories, continuous integration/deployment systems, and change management tools
  • Administer and maintain design of assigned Database Management Systems, including reporting
  • Design and implement data integration strategies, data warehousing, and lake formations
  • Provide on-call escalation and after-hours support as required
  • Participate as a project resource for IT/Corporate project management systems
  • Contribute to workload and tracking efforts as required
