As an IT Operations Supervisor / Site Lead, you will supervise IT operations for a specific Munters location. You will establish working relationships with key business stakeholders, engaging them in regular communication regarding their IT requirements. You will supervise the local IT operations team including hiring, training, mentoring and performance reviews. You will take ownership of local IT CSAT KPI, remaining connected to daily ticketing cases and IT issues affecting the local business. You will function as a point of escalation for complex IT issues and communicate high impact issues and resolution timelines to the local business as needed. You will interface with various functions within IT both regionally and globally including IT infrastructure, Applications, Security and GroupIT. You may function as a resource for the broader IT Ops team in areas of subject matter expertise. You will manage local vendors / IT service providers as needed and operate with a security mindset, assuming special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of IT concepts and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with computer operating systems, software applications, hardware, networking, troubleshooting - 5+ years.
  • Ability to motivate, guide, and supervise a small team of IT professionals - 5+ years.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, executing, and managing IT projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and changes in the IT landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and mentor a team of IT staff for a specific location, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to perform their duties.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team and end-users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring systems are functioning correctly.
  • Lead and manage IT projects, from planning and execution to tracking progress and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Effectively communicate with IT staff, end-users, and other stakeholders, keeping them informed about system status and project progress.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance with established IT policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the security of IT systems and data by implementing and maintaining established security measures and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in IT operations and work with regional IT management to implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
