About This Internship Arch’s internship program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the insurance industry. Working alongside some of the most talented members of the specialty insurance industry, interns will gain relevant expertise in various aspects of the field, participate in learning activities and receive ongoing feedback. About This Role Support the CONNECT servicing portal and Spark UI applications used by Arch MI customers and internal business teams. Perform servicing functions such as loan boarding, loan updates, service transfers, cancellations, and cash management. Enhance features of the Spark application using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular to meet business team requirements. Collaborate on infrastructure components including Azure ARO (OCP), Kafka, AMQ, DataGrid, Qlik, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, DB400, Dynatrace, Splunk, and OpsGenie. Troubleshoot and optimize application performance using monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Splunk. Assist in integrating data sources and services to support scalable and reliable servicing operations.

Requirements

  • Actively completing a graduate degree in Computer Science, or relevant program.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • College level – Graduate student, with graduation dates ranging from December 2026 – May 2027.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and JUnit required.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner.
  • Team player who collaborates effectively.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Typescript and Angular preferred.
