This role ensures a smooth and productive IT experience by managing end-user computing devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting collaboration tools. Additionally, the IT Services Engineer will proactively assess and improve IT support processes to enhance efficiency and user experience.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years in IT support, workplace services, or a similar role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows-based environments, with some macOS support.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Endpoint Central, Jira Service Management, and Zoom.
  • Understanding of networking basics and endpoint security best practices.
  • Ability to analyze and improve IT workflows for better efficiency.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+, Security+, or Network+
  • Microsoft Fundamentals or Associate-level certifications (e.g., MS-900, MD-100, MD-101)
  • Knowledge of MDM solutions for device management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person and remote technical support for employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain workplace technology, including Windows and macOS devices, printers, and peripherals.
  • Support collaboration and communication tools, including Zoom, Microsoft 365, and Jira Service Management.
  • Assist in managing Active Directory, Endpoint Central, and MDM solutions for secure and efficient device management.
  • Analyze and improve IT processes to increase efficiency and reduce end-user friction.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and lifecycle management.
  • Document IT processes, troubleshooting guides, and end-user support documentation.
