Make a real impact in a supportive, people focused tech environment We’re looking for an enthusiastic and capable IT Service Desk Operator to join our growing technology team. This is more than a support role - it’s an opportunity to become a trusted partner to our users and play an important part in enhancing the systems our people rely on every day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, solving problems, and working in an environment where teamwork and communication matter. You’ll be valued not just for what you know, but for the way you support and empower those around you.

Requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • A solid understanding of operating systems, software, networking and hardware.
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools and processes.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • This is an entry level role — prior experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve hardware and software issues with confidence and care.
  • Provide clear, patient and user focused support.
  • Manage incidents and service requests using ITSM tools, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to improve systems and processes.
  • Contribute to key IT projects and change initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to our knowledge base.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and improve the user experience.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
