  • Act as the primary security contact/adviser for the Board Member, SVP/General Manager and their IT, Architecture, Operations, HR, Finance, Legal and other local personnel.
  • Develop and manage the Internal Capability Maturity Program for the IT Security Office non-mandate program.
  • Proactively identify nonconformity and areas of potential improvement and facilitate development of pragmatic solutions to address issues, utilizing the security assessments and observations processes.
  • Serve as the Deputy to the Head of IT Security Office - Non-mandate section.
  • Participate in BU related conferences, client facing engagement and industry forums to represent the Security program.
  • Work with Incident Response and Crisis Management teams to effectively manage incidents to an acceptable resolution; assist with investigations as needed.
  • Contribute to the definition, development, and oversight of a global security management strategy and framework.
  • Ensure technology, processes, and governance are in place to monitor, detect, prevent, and react to both current and emerging technology and security threats against the business.
  • Adhere to, advise, oversee, monitor and enforce frameworks and methodologies that relate to technology controls/information security activities.
  • Initiate training where necessary and contribute to planning and execution of awareness activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field plus 4 years of experience as an IT Security Officer, Senior IT Consultant, Risk Advisory Consultant, IT Researcher, or closely related position in information technology.
  • Candidate's prior experience must include: Methodology development for cyber security maturity enhancement and extending the Cyber Security Methodology Development for a specific use case or customer need.
  • Maintaining cyber security maturity methodology and currency in the cyber security space.
  • Global international insurance industry business and regulatory experience.
  • Strategic communication for C-Level and board engagement.
  • Implementing cross-industry security strategies.
  • Conducting high-level reviews of technologies and applications.
  • Applied knowledge of network security, software development security, and security engineering principles.
