This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, which includes the ability to work from home, while also requiring to be in person as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis, Missouri.

  • Facilitating the API Governance process and stewarding the API Strategy.
  • Setting standards and best practices for how teams should operate in the Enterprise Mobility API ecosystem.
  • Engaging with solution teams to provide consultation and guidance.
  • Proactively engaging with application development teams, road mapping, reporting, and product management for new capabilities to the API gateway and event driven architecture platforms.
  • Collaborating with API development teams to understand their needs related to API platforms, standards, and processes.
  • Translating needs into requirements and collaborating with teams that will design, build and roll out new capabilities.
  • Partnering with solution teams to ensure APIs are well documented in the API Marketplace.
  • Maturing practices related to product management.
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area.
  • Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
  • 8 years of related experience in the field of information technology, preferably supporting a large organization.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role.
  • Experience managing an API Marketplace, including administration and enhancements.
  • Experience organizing and leading governance efforts/meetings.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of REST and event/EDA API concepts and platforms.
  • Proven experience developing product strategies and effectively communicating recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology and workflow management tools.
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Technical background with experience in API development and software development practices.
  • Certified Agile or Scrum Product Owner.
  • Experience managing JIRA based Agile teams and SharePoint customer knowledgebase sites.
  • Experience with the Kong API gateway product.
  • Experience with Solace Event Driven Architecture product.
  • Experience in leadership and team management.
