  • Enable access to enterprise data across Mayo Clinic in support of innovative projects.
  • Collaborate with Epic, MCC, and source system teams for data acquisition.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain custom system software.
  • Evaluate alternative approaches and present recommendations to teams and unit leadership.
  • Produce and maintain documentation such as system requirements and designs.
  • Provide technical and project leadership to other staff members.
  • Interface with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages.
  • Act as a liaison to Mayo departments and vendors to support computing systems.
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience, including 1 year of demonstrated technical experience; or Associate's degree and 7 years' experience, including 1 year of demonstrated technical experience.
  • Knowledge of enterprise data warehouse, clinical data, or EMR data (Epic Clarity, Cerner, GE Lastword).
  • Experience with business intelligence and data extraction technologies like SSIS and SQL query development.
  • Familiarity with Google data extraction tools like BigQuery, DataFusion, and DataFlow.
  • Strong communication, meeting management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task among multiple complex assigned tasks/projects.
  • Experience working in healthcare technology.
  • Master's degree in applicable field preferred.
  • Experience managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications.
