About The Position

The IT Security Specialist will play a key role in promoting cybersecurity awareness and supporting the organization’s security program. This entry-level position focuses on delivering security training, conducting phishing simulations, and managing program metrics to ensure continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about cybersecurity education and program management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT-related roles (internships or academic projects acceptable).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to create engaging security awareness content and deliver training sessions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
• Strong analytical skills for tracking and reporting program metrics.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with phishing simulation platforms and security awareness tools (preferred but not required).
• Basic understanding of secure development practices and common vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute phishing simulations to assess and improve user awareness.
• Organize and deliver secure development training exercises for technical teams.
• Create and distribute security awareness bulletins and enterprise communications.
• Track cybersecurity program effectiveness through metrics and KPIs.
• Communicate program performance and insights to key stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
