About The Position
Lynker is supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in providing and maintaining IT security critical to the collection of space, atmosphere, water and climate observational data. This critical water intelligence also supports socio-economic decision-making for a sustained and enhanced economy. We are expecting the need for an experienced IT Security Specialist to work on the team to support this work. The ideal IT Security Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust administrative, technical, and physical controls to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate risks effectively.
