About The Position

The IT Security Engineer protects the organization's digital assets by designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to mitigate risks and safeguard data from cyber threats. Your role includes developing and implementing security measures, policies, and best practices to protect IT infrastructure, networks, and sensitive data from cyber threats. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, software development, compliance, and executive leadership, to ensure a secure environment. Additionally, you will conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and incident response while continuously monitoring systems for potential risks. This position offers opportunities for professional growth in cloud security, ethical hacking, and cybersecurity certifications (Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Ethical Hacker).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT risk management.
• Experience with SIEM tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and cloud security (AWS and Azure).
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
