About The Position

Our client is seeking an IT Security Engineer for a remote, temporary-to-permanent position. Candidates will work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis during the contract period. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network security infrastructure, securing enterprise systems, and supporting branch and data center environments.

Requirements

• Enterprise firewalls (Cisco ASA / Palo Alto / Fortinet class)
• Network routing and switching
• Active Directory security integration
• Branch network architecture
• Incident response and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining network security infrastructure
• Securing enterprise systems
• Supporting branch and data center environments
• Configuration and monitoring of firewalls and perimeter defenses
• Network segmentation and secure connectivity between branches
• Supporting VPN Connectivity
• Monitoring and responding to security incidents
• Assisting with audits, compliance, and regulatory controls
