As a Security Engineer , your duties will involve creating, executing, and upkeeping the security framework for Reynolds. This position demands a comprehensive knowledge of information security and risk management, along with a documented history of crafting and deploying effective security measures. As a Security Engineer, you will work in collaboration with various teams to safeguard our systems and data, ensuring their confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility. Your responsibilities also include partnering with different business units to coordinate with their teams, making certain that our security framework is in line with the highest industry standards and contributes to achieving our business goals. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is desired.
  • 5-7 years of experience in information security, with a specific focus on infrastructure security architecture.
  • Hands-on experience in managing and securing network and IT infrastructure in a large-scale organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise‑grade security controls across network, cloud, and endpoint environments.
  • Engineer solutions that align to RCP’s security standards, policies, and architectural patterns.
  • Build secure configurations for firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, secure web gateways, and segmentation technologies.
  • Engineer and harden cloud security configurations (Azure, AWS, GCP) including identity, workload protection, VM/container security, logging, and network controls.
  • Implement and optimize IAM controls such as MFA enforcement, conditional access, identity governance, and privileged access restrictions.
  • Integrate cloud telemetry into SIEM/EDR platforms and design detections where needed.
  • Serve as technical owner or co‑owner for key platforms such as: Firewalls & IDS/IPS Secure Web Gateways (SWG) Cloud-native security capabilities
  • Build automations, integrations, dashboards, and health monitoring for security tools.
  • Strengthen and maintain secure network architectures including segmentation, routing, hybrid connectivity, VPN, and micro‑segmentation.
  • Engineer security logging pipelines for network appliances, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers to ensure reliable detection coverage.
  • Validate and remediate findings from network security assessments and penetration tests.
  • Continuously improve the organization’s security posture through configuration hardening, patch alignment, and reducing attack surface in servers, endpoints, OT devices, and cloud workloads.
  • Evaluate new security technologies, conduct POCs, and make recommendations based on business needs and threat trends.
  • Partner with Cyber Defense to tune detections, improve telemetry quality, and address detection gaps.
  • Work with Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure secure deployment pipelines, secure coding patterns, and secure design for new solutions.
  • Assist teams in meeting compliance, audit, or regulatory obligations.
  • Develop and maintain security standards, baseline configurations, diagrams, runbooks, and engineering playbooks.
  • Provide clear technical guidance to IT partners, ensuring consistent adoption of secure practices.
