About The Position

The IT Security Analyst at Bank Iowa will provide ownership of cybersecurity oversight, development, and threat mitigation to all Bank Iowa technology systems. This person will ensure information systems follow current security frameworks, regulations, and governing policies. They will also be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in overseeing the entire information security lifecycle including, but not limited to, policies, standards, access control, security monitoring and auditing, and security compliance. Provide cybersecurity oversight for enterprise systems to protect data and technology assets. Implement and maintain security policies, standards, and controls aligned with regulatory and industry requirements. Monitor for threats and vulnerabilities and lead incident response and follow-up activities. Partner with IT, business leaders, and vendors to ensure systems and processes meet security requirements. Manage and optimize security tools such as endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and monitoring platforms. Support audits, exams, and risk assessments by preparing documentation and coordinating finding remediation. Prepare, organize, and lead regular interdepartmental IT Security meetings. Promote a strong security culture through training, collaboration, guidance, and awareness efforts.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in a computer related field or equivalent years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Information Technology with an emphasis on cybersecurity.

  • Works on call as it relates to security incidents with any major breach or security notifications escalation to management as appropriate.
  • Full time, regular employment.
  • Generally, Monday through Friday.
  • May work weekends, or outside normal hours in some situations.
  • Limited travel may be required for this position.
