About The Position

As a Technology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Information Security team in maintaining the security of our organization's systems and data. This position provides an opportunity to learn and develop skills in various aspects of information security.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security practices
• Bachelor's degree in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and notifications from various security tools and systems to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities
• Assist in the detection, analysis, and response to security incidents, including documenting incident reports and collaborating with the incident response team
• Participate in vulnerability assessments, scans, and patch management activities to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities
• Assist in managing user access permissions, including account creation, modification, and termination, to ensure adherence to security policies
• Help in the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and guidelines across the organization
• Contribute to security awareness training and education programs for employees to promote a security-conscious culture
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of security-related activities, incidents, and policies
• Gain proficiency in using security tools and technologies for monitoring and protecting the organization's systems and data
• Assist in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations related to information security (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
