Provides daily operational information security leadership to the UF Health Shands enterprise by proactively supporting information security initiatives throughout the enterprise and acting as a knowledgeable resource for UF Health departments and units on technical and administrative information security matters. Collaborate with project owners to make necessary changes and document outstanding risks. Organize and lead cross-departmental project teams. Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or stressful situations. Flexibility and the ability to change priorities quickly are often required of this position. This is a lead position on the IT Security team and will participate in management as well as provide supervision, mentoring, and feedback on the performance of junior IT Security team members. On-call support responsibilities are required.
