As an IT Security Analyst intern at Acxiom, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to protect the company's email, data, e-commerce, and web-based systems from internal and external threats. Your responsibilities will include researching attempted or successful security breaches and crafting effective countermeasures to mitigate risks. You will also maintain the hardware and software used for data creation, collection, and analysis, ensuring that all systems are secure and functioning optimally. This internship is designed for The Forge Institute Forge Fellowship SkillBridge Applicants, and you will be expected to work a 40-hour week during the internship period. While we aim to have interns work on-site in Conway, Arkansas, there is flexibility for the internship to begin and potentially continue virtually. As teams transition back to the office, we will provide updates on the timeline for on-site work. It is essential that applicants for this internship have work authorization in the U.S. that does not require future visa sponsorship. In this role, you will support the monitoring of Acxiom's cybersecurity tools, refresh threat intelligence scenarios, and monitor for social engineering and phishing campaigns. You will also be responsible for updating reports to identify trends and analyze data security risks, recommending improvements based on your assessments. Additionally, you will conduct integrated security access reviews and update vulnerability assessments in response to changes in the threat landscape. If applicable, you may assist in cloud vulnerability management and partner with the internal penetration testing team to enhance security measures.
