About The Position

This internship provides hands-on exposure to enterprise SAP systems and the opportunity to work alongside experienced technical and business professionals. This role will report to the VP of IT Business Solutions & Innovation and play a critical role in the success of the information technology department by working with cross-functional businesses to coordinate logistics for project team leads and functional areas as needed. The Intern will be part of a team focusing on business and solution design and will be involved in various activities to help gain important knowledge and experience of SAP end to end projects. We are open to a hybrid work arrangement for the right candidate, however, ideally on-site at least a couple days a week in our Manchester, CT Home Office. What You Will Do Partner with the SAP core team to support the execution of business processes across multiple functional areas Assist with process improvements and system design enhancements to improve operational efficiency Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, job instructions, and technical documentation Support the creation and enhancement of training materials and knowledge documentation Assist functional and technical leads with special projects and development of functional specifications Monitor and track IT support requests, analyze defects, and help identify potential solutions Create and manage work plans, ensuring project tasks and action items are completed on time Perform general SAP administrative activities and assist with troubleshooting production issues Develop ad-hoc reports using SAP tools and Microsoft Excel to support business insights Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system improvements and business initiatives What You’ll Learn During this internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with enterprise technology and business operations in a collaborative, fast-paced retail environment. Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Computer Science Information Technology Business (with emphasis on technology or information systems)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document processes and technical information
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across IT and business functions
Ability to analyze system issues, defects, and business processes to recommend improvements
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to produce accurate documentation and system updates
Resourceful and proactive in identifying solutions to technical or process challenges
Strong interest in learning about enterprise systems, SAP, and emerging technologies

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with IT terminology, ERP systems, and business process documentation
Exposure to technical writing or process documentation
Experience or familiarity with tools such as: SAP Asana SharePoint Jira
SAP certifications or coursework are a plus but not required
