About The Position

Worldwide Golf is seeking a dynamic IT Retail Operations Manager to support the day-to-day operations of GK POS that will improve POS experience and drive operational efficiencies. You will be accountable for supporting the Operations Teams through the piloting and deployment of the new POS system at Worldwide Golf. We are looking for someone with strong experience in GK.

Requirements

  • 5 + years working experience with POS systems - preferably experience with POS implementations.
  • Hands-on experience working with GK POS (Point of Sale) systems, including configuration, integration, and troubleshooting within retail environments.
  • Strong understanding of retail POS workflows and configurations.
  • Familiarity with integration of POS with backend systems (e.g., ERP).
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori, GK POS setup/troubleshooting.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with scripting or SQL is a plus.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Experience supporting large scale applications within a 24/7 environment.
  • Experience identifying and implementing automation solutions to proactively detect and resolve production issues.
  • Experience automating team processes and workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and reduce operational overhead.
  • Strong background in enterprise monitoring, job scheduling, major incident management, and data center operations.
  • Expertise with tools such as Open Search, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, and related enterprise platforms.
  • Experience directly or indirectly managing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain GK POS systems in retail environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve POS-related technical issues.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams for system enhancements.
  • Lead business analysis (Process mapping, documentation) to support solution design.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute retail system rollouts.
  • Lead rollout, hyper care and issue resolution activities.
  • Collaborate across teams to align solutions, resolve SAP/POS/GK integration issues.
  • Perform testing, deployment, and documentation of POS updates.
  • Maintain documentation, dashboard and SLA reporting.
  • Provide stakeholder updates, escalate issues and mentor team members.
  • Support store operations and coordinate escalations with technical teams.
  • Prioritize GK enhancement and bug tickets for IT team to resolve.
