The Cincinnati Insurance Companies' Resource Management department is currently seeking a resource manager to develop associates' skills and competencies, provide performance review management, administrate salaries, plan education and provide career counseling. Resource managers work closely with directors, project and service managers to equip project and operational activities with the right resources. In addition, resource managers are assigned to create and oversee key methods, models and standards. To ensure active engagement, all associates are expected to appear on camera during virtual meetings with other associates, customers and stakeholders. This practice is important for maintaining connection, as non-verbal cues are essential for effective communication and building relationships. Work location and flexibility are subject to change based on evolving business needs, but generally, selected candidates who reside: within 50 miles of Headquarters may be expected to work in a hybrid capacity, combining remote and onsite work when business needs necessitate. more than 50 miles from Headquarters must be flexible and available to travel to Fairfield, OH, on an occasional basis for special events, training sessions, or key meetings. Salary range: $100,000 - $160,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities.

Requirements

  • ability to successfully start, run and close small to medium sized projects
  • Bachelors in Information Technology field(s) preferred
  • 5 years of experience in an enterprise IT role, including 3 or more years IT management experience

Responsibilities

  • manage the associate performance review process which includes delivering review feedback, monitoring performance issues, increasing knowledge and skills and recommending promotions as merited
  • administer associate salary increases, bonuses and rewards
  • manage and monitor associate career development plans, engagement levels and utilize performance management processes
  • manage capacity and allocation of associates
  • encourage associates to pursue education and training to help them achieve goals and objectives that aid career progression
  • process education requests, expense account forms and change of status or termination data sheet requests
  • establish and maintain title competencies, job descriptions and responsibilities
  • establish and manage a budget for salary, benefits, travel, training and personal development
  • manage the IT associate hiring and term process
  • create, enforce, and administer resource management processes and procedures
  • manage headcount allocation and headcount changes within assigned Directorship(s)
