The IT QA Tester II is an experienced quality assurance professional who independently designs and executes comprehensive test plans for complex features. High School Diploma or general equivalent
3-5 years of software testing experience
Strong understanding of testing methodologies
Proficient in test case design techniques
Expert in exploratory testing strategies
Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, UAT)
Understanding of test coverage and risk-based testing
Strong domain knowledge in relevant business areas
SQL for data validation and verification
Basic understanding of APIs and web services
Browser developer tools for basic debugging
Understanding of HTML/CSS for element identification
Comfortable with test management and defect tracking tools
Test management tools (Jira, TestRail, qTest, Zephyr)
Bug tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps)
API testing tools (Postman basics)
Screen recording and documentation tools
Collaboration tools (Slack, Teams, Confluence)

Basic scripting ability (nice to have)
Basic automation script maintenance
Performance testing awareness
Accessibility testing (WCAG basics)
Mobile device testing (iOS/Android)
ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification
