The ideal candidate will be energized by working across multiple functional areas—including Construction Operations, HR, Finance, and Preconstruction—while helping to implement technical solutions and provide outstanding user support. The role requires strong organizational skills, service orientation, and the ability to manage both structured projects and urgent day-to-day needs. This position is part of a small but growing IT team that values flexibility, cross-training, and Blach’s core values of Quality, Transparency, Teamwork, and Respect.

  • Lead or coordinate technology projects across construction, finance, HR, safety, and jobsite support.
  • Perform requirements gathering, scope definition, risk identification, scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, UAT, and go-live execution.
  • Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates to IT leadership and stakeholders.
  • Deliver end-user training, SOPs, and support transition plans.
  • Document any common ongoing technical support and maintenance.
  • Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for a Windows/Office 365 environment, desktop setup, Zoom, and SaaS platforms; manage incidents through Freshdesk with adherence to SLAs.
  • Administer and manage Cloud File Server (Egnyte).
  • Troubleshoot issues, ensure timely resolution, and continuously improve service quality.
  • Follow escalation protocols for unresolved incidents and participate in rotating support coverage as needed.
  • Manage printer fleet (troubleshooting, setup, and move requests).
  • Onboard and offboard users.
  • Manage Microsoft Exchange Online: mailbox provisioning, distribution lists, retention policies, spam/phishing protections, and admin portal settings.
  • Support and maintain related platforms such as Exclaimer email signature service and Exchange hygiene tools.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 tenant policy enforcement and security posture improvements.
  • Serve as a liaison between business teams and IT to translate operational needs into technical tasks.
  • Provide systems and administrative support for platforms including CMiC, Egnyte, ManageEngine, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Verkada, and Palo Alto Networks.
  • Maintain internal knowledge base content and participate in IT documentation and SOP development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ required; ITIL v4 or PMP/CAPM, or Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.
  • 1-3 years in a hybrid IT project and support role.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and support services in a mid-sized company environment (150–500 users).
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online administration.
  • Familiar with Windows OS, Active Directory, basic networking, SaaS management, and mobile device support.
  • Prior experience with construction-industry platforms (CMiC, Autodesk Construction Cloud) and experience supporting ERP, HRIS, or Project Management systems is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts (Incident, Change, and Problem Management) and exposure to IT security standards and vendor compliance practices are recommended.
  • Strong communicator, detail-oriented, organized, and motivated by helping others.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a dynamic and high-touch environment.
  • Highly competitive base salary.
  • Initial three weeks of paid vacation (growing to four weeks after five years of service).
  • Holidays and sick leave.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Profit-sharing.
  • Long-term disability insurance.
  • Cash bonuses based on performance.
  • Professional development and education assistance.
