About The Position

The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing small, medium, and large enterprise IT projects that span various departments within the Health System. The role focuses on ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budgetary constraints. This includes overseeing all aspects of projects within the IT department, managing a team of employees, and ensuring that projects are completed according to specified goals and timelines.

Requirements

  • Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems
  • Knowledge of network administration and service desk administration
  • Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with the team
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle issues during project completion
  • Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
  • Excellent resource planning and scheduling skills

Responsibilities

  • Setting project goals and developing plans to meet those goals
  • Maintaining project time frames, budgeting estimates, and status reports
  • Managing resources for projects such as computer equipment and employees
  • Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
  • Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budgets
  • Using project management tools to track project performance
  • Assisting with managing project portfolio and executive reporting
  • Conducting risk assessments for projects
  • Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
