About The Position

The Cybersecurity Project Manager (PM) is responsible and accountable for delivering the best-practice approach designed to successfully plan and prepare for all aspects of project engagement, delivery and adoption within the assigned portfolio. This role is accountable for Cyber project objectives that drive business value, operational excellence, optimized customer experience, and other activities as assigned by the Cyber HR or Program Manager. The PM is responsible for working with stakeholders to define project scope, budget estimates, resource requirements, and achievable milestones. This includes planning, risk assessment, influencing sponsors, prioritizing work, identifying project dependencies, and communication strategies. The PM will have an active role in facilitating decisions, managing teams, vendors and financial resources necessary to implement change for high impact environments while ensuring compliance with enterprise level design processes standards and policies. The PM is expected to work autonomously and have some direction from the Cyber HR/Program Manager with regards to project delivery and the Cyber Portfolio project management standards through collaboration and demonstrating team leadership while focusing on items that will have positive project outcome implications. The PM is a facilitator of early engagement, project gap analysis and operational change management. This will include innovation of project lifecycle delivery, promoting successful relationship management and customer adoption. The PM is expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of the Cyber Portfolio project management standards.

Requirements

Bachelors Preferred or equivalent work experience required.
2-3 years experience required: 3rd Party Solution implementation Infrastructure knowledge Vendor Engagement & Management Risk Detection & Mitigation
Experience or Exposure to any of the following: Infant Security Video Surveillance (in hospital, clinic, parking lot, parking garage) Access Control (building, floor, room, door access with badging) Infant Viewing Pneumatic Tube Staff Safety/Mobile Duress Patient Wandering Emergency Call Box Mass Communications Weapon Detection

Nice To Haves

1 or more relevant technical/professional security certifications preferred
Preferred Project Management experience in a Health care environment
Experience in process improvement; Lean Six Sigma principles and/or business process management
Project Management Professional, upon hire

Responsibilities

Defines project scope, objectives, key resources, budget and project plan in support of one or more projects .
Measuring project performance, reporting, and escalating in support of one or more projects.
Leads one or more intermediate to complex projects.
Follows the CommonSpirit Health and Cyber Portfolio financial and accounting standards to manage budget with limited oversight.
Monitors and prepares reports to ensure work is progressing to meet the deliverables on time and under budget.
Manages delivery of one or more medium or intermediate complexity capital and non-capital IT projects simultaneously.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope.
Effectively applies the organization’s project management methodology and enforces project standards.
Supports and participates in in-flight reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Proactively identifies, manages and minimizes organization’s exposure and risk on projects.
Solves conflicts and issues in a timely manner, escalating to Sr. PM or Program Manager as appropriate.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Effectively communicates relevant project information to Cyber managers and stakeholders, and if requested, to leadership, including but not limited to sponsors.
Provides leadership to Associate Project Managers or Analysts.
Provides leadership to multi-disciplinary teams, as well as third-party consultants with limited manager oversight.
Responsible for aligning project activities and deliverables with third-party consultant Statements of Work (SOWs).

Contributes to professional development goals, Cyber Portfolio annual goals and best practices.
