About The Position

GDC is currently seeking an IT Project Manager to support assigned IT initiatives across their full project lifecycle. This role works closely with management, technical teams, and end users to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with defined quality standards. Position Overview As an IT Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and successful delivery of project objectives across Agile and traditional environments.

Requirements

  • Six (6) years of experience in IT Project Management.
  • Six (6) years of experience managing Agile IT projects.
  • Six (6) years of experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SQL.
  • Six (6) years of demonstrated analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Six (6) years of experience using Azure DevOps and GIT.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects.
  • Experience working directly with technical development teams and business stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering projects in complex enterprise or government environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned IT project(s) through all phases of the project management lifecycle.
  • Define project requirements, scope, quality standards, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks that may impact project outcomes.
  • Define and manage specific activities required to produce project deliverables.
  • Evaluate deliverables and ensure readiness to progress to subsequent project phases.
  • Oversee testing activities, address issues identified during testing, and validate results.
  • Ensure scheduled timeframes are met and proactively address delivery challenges.
  • Provide regular project status updates, performance metrics, and progress reports.
  • Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements, determine needs, and set expectations.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to review applications and obtain feedback.
  • Manage, evaluate, and approve changes within assigned IT projects.
  • Attend meetings and direct professional and/or technical staff as required.
