You’ll coordinate projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet their goals and deliverables. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Coordination of BMIC projects, overseeing project initiation, stakeholder meetings, requirements, scheduling, milestones, deliverables, and staff assignments. Manage project planning and utilize operational management tools such as Atlassian Jira and Jira Service Management. Conduct regular meetings with BMIC staff and leadership to review ongoing projects, assess milestones, and strategize on workload management and capacity for new initiatives. Project Management Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate BMIC project management processes, utilizing necessary tools for deliverable tracking and coordination with CTSI and University of Utah partners for major projects. Handle project documentation, including scoping, work breakdown, deliverables, and reporting on assigned tasks. Facilitate statement of work, authorization, invoicing, and meeting logistics, including agendas and notes. Ensure smooth transition of support requests and informatics consultations from the BMIC User Services team to formal projects, maintaining continuity throughout the process. Cross-train for operational and technical project support as needed. Collaborate with BMIC User Services and Engineering teams to develop product documentation and knowledge articles. Assign staff to projects in collaboration with the BMIC IT Project Manager Sr. and Director of Operations, ensuring development and operational support tasks are tracked according to project management standards. Utilize BMIC operational management tools (e.g., Atlassian JIRA , Service Desk) for staffing effort tracking, and manage resources for project efforts. Conduct regular meetings with senior management to review project progress, assess milestone achievements, and plan for new project requests, with required dashboard-level reporting on project and staff efforts. Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
