About The Position

A public-sector–focused organization is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager as part of an upcoming IT staff augmentation engagement. The selected candidate will support multiple IT initiatives across enterprise programs and systems, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors. This role requires strong coordination, communication, and delivery skills in complex, regulated environments. Work Location Work arrangements may include a combination of: Onsite at organization offices (New York State locations) Remote (telework from home or office) Occasional field work at organization-supported sites, as required

Requirements

• Proven experience managing IT projects in enterprise or public-sector environments
• Strong stakeholder coordination across technical, business, and vendor teams
• Familiarity with Microsoft-based technology stacks and cloud environments
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects across multiple business and technical teams
• Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors
• Track project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies
• Support both Agile and hybrid project delivery models
• Provide clear status reporting and documentation to leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure project deliverables align with organizational goals and compliance requirements
