About The Position

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support an established Information Technology Project Management Office (PMO). This role will manage 2–5 concurrent enterprise-level IT projects across all phases of the project management lifecycle, applying PMP methodologies and a structured Enterprise Project Management (EPM) governance framework . The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and governance discipline while delivering projects on scope, schedule, budget, and strategic alignment .

Requirements

  • PMP Certification (must be active; please include certification date)
  • Minimum 5 years of IT Project Management experience
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent enterprise-level projects , preferably in regulated or utility environments
  • Strong skills in stakeholder communication, governance adherence, schedule and cost control, and risk management
  • Demonstrated professional maturity with the ability to adapt communication styles across executive, technical, and business audiences
  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing projects involving Web Content Management (WCM) and Marketing Automation
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow PPM, SAP BPC, Microsoft Project, and Atlassian Align
  • Experience with Power BI reporting and analytics is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments
  • Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage 2–5 concurrent enterprise IT projects across Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Closing phases in accordance with an established EPM process.
  • Build strong relationships with Project Sponsors, Execution Sponsors, and key stakeholders to ensure effective governance and oversight.
  • Partner with Sponsors to define project success criteria and measurable business benefits to be tracked post-implementation.
  • Lead all project management activities including discovery, initiation, detailed planning, resource coordination, risk management, communications, execution monitoring, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain required project artifacts, including but not limited to: Business Cases Project Charters Stakeholder Registers Communication Plans Risk & Issue Logs Integrated Project Schedules with defined milestones Benefits Realization Plans Status Reports and Dashboards
  • Facilitate formal phase-gate reviews and approvals (Initiation → Planning → Execution → Closing), ensuring compliance with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with planning, finance, and business stakeholders to confirm funding, resource availability, and enterprise priority alignment .
  • Monitor and control scope, schedule, cost, and risks , initiating change requests in accordance with approval thresholds.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc project status updates using enterprise systems of record and reporting dashboards.
  • Build and track project plans and tasks using ServiceNow PPM, Microsoft Project, Atlassian Align , or equivalent tools.
  • Lead project closeout activities including lessons learned documentation and benefits realization follow-up .
  • Ensure compliance with organizational ethics, delegated authority, and reporting standards throughout the project lifecycle.
