About The Position

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an IT Project Manager to support enterprise-level technology initiatives for the Commission. This position offers the opportunity to manage multiple IT projects of varying complexity while collaborating closely with business owners, technology teams, and vendors in a structured PMO-driven environment.
As an IT Project Manager you will be responsible for leading and overseeing multiple technology projects throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with PMO standards, stakeholder expectations, and organizational objectives while delivering projects on time and within scope and budget.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing projects of various size and subject matter, including integration, scope, schedule, cost, communication, vendor, and risk management.
• Demonstrated experience following established PMO standards, procedures, and governance frameworks (Playbook-driven environments).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• IT project management experience within complex enterprise environments.
• ServiceNow experience, including Idea, Project, and Demand modules.
• Experience utilizing Azure DevOps for project tracking and collaboration.
• Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM practices and methodologies.
• Transportation industry experience.
• Experience managing GeoAnalytics-related projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple IT projects of varying size and complexity through the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
• Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive project plans and required artifacts in accordance with PTC PMO standards, templates, and methodologies.
• Manage integration, scope, schedule, cost, communications, vendor relationships, and risk planning and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with business owners, analysts, project sponsors, vendors, and key stakeholders to define, refine, and control project scope.
• Ensure adherence to the PTC PMO Playbook and all referenced governance artifacts.
• Facilitate lessons learned sessions during and after project completion to identify process improvements and best practices.
• Build and maintain productive working relationships with technology teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in support of Commission initiatives.
