About The Position
About the opportunity We are looking for a motivated Project Manager who will join our team and lead projects that deliver on key business initiatives. The Project Manager is responsible for managing schedules, resource allocation, financials, identifying risks, and change requests in order to ensure successful, on-time delivery. In this role you will work with IS teams (which include Core Data, Business Platforms, IT, AI), along with key stakeholders and non-technical team members, to deliver the expected business outcomes for our fast growing company. Manage the full lifecycle of complex projects from strategy to delivery with cross functional project teams. Continuously improve best practices, templates, practices, tools and partnerships to expand and mature project management capabilities for the organization. Manage multiple related projects to ensure the overall company initiatives are aligned to and directly support the achievement of strategic objectives. Communicate Impact: Keep stakeholders in the loop with regular updates, gather feedback, and tweak plans to achieve the best outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand roadmaps and where IS work will provide support. Manage project backlogs to ensure timely delivery of milestones. Monitor and analyze project performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Assist with portfolio management, as needed, including tracking and reporting on all enterprise-level IS projects. Assist with project management upskilling across Contentful by facilitating ‘PM Bootcamp’ workshops.
Requirements
- You have at least 5 years working experience as a Project Manager.
- Ability to navigate in a fast-moving environment with efficiency.
- Proven success leading projects and programs to completion on-time, on-schedule and within budget.
- Experience leading, motivating and managing various project team sizes, including internal and external resources.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills to all levels of an organization.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, team spirit, and enjoyment of project work as well as the flexibility required to manage uncertainty and address potential trade-offs.
- Experience leading a wide array of project types.
- Experience building collaboration and rapport within a project team with technical and non-technical members.
- Experience working in a SaaS company with agile project management practices.
