About The Position

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Project Manager to lead delivery of IT, non-IT, and ancillary services and support NSIN and/or Mission Partners projects that enable C6ISR, Advanced Training, Autonomous Technology and AI, Security Cooperation, Automated Logistics, Health IT and Business Systems, and Cyber Operations mission sets on a TDL. This position will be located in Anchorage, AK and will be an onsite position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
  • Clearance Required: Secret
  • Must maintain ability to acquire a TS Clearance as required.
  • Must have supervisory experience
  • Must have experience in planning and defining project lifecycle deployment

  • CCNP or CCNA
  • Experience working in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities
  • Demonstrated ability to function with minimal instruction or supervision, or as a part of a larger team reporting to formal project management, Ent. Strong communications and organizational skills
  • Experience with Layer 2, 3, and 4 networking - knowledge and experience with MPLS, EIGRP, BGP, QoS, DMVPN, and other WAN-based technologies

Responsibilities

  • Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects.
  • Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff.
  • Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers.
  • Generally reports to a Program Manager.
  • Applies program-level management standards such as CMMI and ISO to the TDL.
  • Manages cost, schedule, performance, communication, quality, risk, and resources, including subcontractors, assigned to the TDL.
  • Takes corrective action as appropriate.
  • Transparently communicates with contractor, NSIN, Mission Partner, and FEDSIM stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Institutionalizes DevOps, lean, agile, DevSecOps, ITIL, and other processes and frameworks.
  • Prepares inputs to management-related deliverables, including the Monthly Status Report and Technical Direction Plans.
  • Manages Extended Work Week (EWW) requests, Travel Authorization Requests (TARs), and Requests to Initiate Purchase (RIPs), ensuring alignment with Mission Partner needs and contractual requirements.
  • Manages the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
  • Defines requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment.
  • Supervises professional and technical support personnel performing in their regular disciplines.
  • Schedules tasks and coordinates with various team members to accomplish the results.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting.
