About The Position

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee a variety of IT-related projects, including those focused on servers, desktops, and networking. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, each with diverse customer needs. Typically oversee scope, cost, and schedule of a project; working on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects. Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project. Provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources. Commensurate experience and education for the specific level. Manage a variety of IT-related projects supporting servers, desktops, and networking initiatives Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring their diverse needs are met. Oversee the internal Discovery process, including customer interaction, technical evaluation, and recommendations tailored to the customer’s environment. Evaluate and implement process changes to enhance IT services for our customers. Create, monitor, and execute customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (BS/BA) and a minimum of 3 years of experience managing IT projects in a large environment.
  • Candidates can start uncleared but must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Experience managing numerous IT Projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large IT projects from inception through implementation.
  • Thorough technical hands on knowledge resolving technical issues affecting servers, desktops, and networking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in managing customer relationships effectively.
  • Experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of an IT support team.
  • Thorough understanding of the customers' IT business processes.
  • Experience in evaluating and making recommendations to improve departmental IT technologies, along with executing the implementation of those recommendations.
  • Experience supporting a large IT organization.
