The IT Project Manager at Cache Creek Casino Resort is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of the Information Technology project portfolio. This role involves collaborating across departments to identify project requirements, develop schedules, track tasks, and manage budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Take small to medium IT programs/projects from original concept through final implementation.
  • Apply consistency and best practices through project initiation, planning, execution, and closing phases.
  • Develop detailed program/project execution plans and manage all implementation processes including financials, progress tracking, testing, and delivery.
  • Assist in promoting the organizational understanding of Agile roles and facilitate the transition from waterfall to Agile methodologies.
  • Manage scrum teams applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
  • Lead Scrum rituals such as Planning, Standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide sprint progress tracking and reporting using Agile tools.
  • Create status reports to support project communication.
  • Interface and communicate with all teams involved in project delivery, including business and IT functional areas.
  • Follow organizational change management processes and ensure all configuration changes are approved and documented.
  • Monitor and report on assigned performance metrics and foster strong relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Three years of professional experience in Information Technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of project management lifecycle and both waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management applications and tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and SPM.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
