About The Position

The Project Manager – Senior will provide leadership, coordination, and oversight of IT projects in support of Navy systems and operations. This role is responsible for managing software development and maintenance teams, directing computer-related activities, and ensuring that IT solutions are successfully delivered to meet Navy requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related IT field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and directing computer-related activities.
• Proven track record of managing software development and maintenance teams.
• Demonstrated ability to implement IT systems that meet customer requirements.
• Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) certification may be required depending on tasking.
• Highest anticipated certification: IAM Level III.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct IT projects, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
• Lead software development and maintenance teams in designing, testing, and implementing systems.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, budgets, and risk mitigation.
• Work with stakeholders to capture requirements, define project goals, and deliver solutions that meet Navy operational needs.
• Oversee implementation of computer systems and ensure they meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
• Provide project documentation, status updates, and reports to Navy leadership.
• Support transition planning and continuity of operations across multiple project lifecycles.
