This position is for an IT Project Manager within the Office of Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), specifically in the Division of the Comptroller (DOC), Financial Systems Branch (FSB). The role involves managing the agency's ERP core ledger system, ensuring its operation, maintenance, and user support while also coordinating system improvements and compliance with financial regulations.

  • Manage the operation and maintenance of the agency's ERP core ledger system, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fee Billing, Project Cost Accounting, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting.
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and monitor configuration and change requests for the ERP core ledger system.
  • Identify opportunities to improve user experience and enhance business processes using emerging technologies.
  • Provide guidance and support to the ERP core ledger system's user community and business leads.
  • Ensure technical integration across the Financial Services IT Portfolio by participating in system implementation planning, validation, and reviews.
  • Coordinate and conduct governance and perform portfolio management activities associated with the Financial Services IT Portfolio.
  • Apply information security/information assurance policies to the systems analysis process and coordinate with OCFO IT security leads.
  • Perform financial management activities supporting the ERP core ledger system, including Federal Acquisition activities and review of Contractor support invoices.
  • Coordinate the implementation of government-wide regulations requiring revisions to NRC financial management directives.
  • Assist the Branch Chief in meetings on system policy and procedures with NRC divisions and other Federal agencies.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must pass a drug test and undergo a background investigation leading to a clearance.
  • At least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the management of cloud-based Financial IT system responsibilities.
  • Experience in performing Financial IT system user community needs analyses and technical audits.
  • Experience in conducting Financial IT system feasibility studies and participation in IT system implementation plans.
  • Experience with agency/company level core financial management systems such as CGI Momentum or Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud.
  • Familiarity with travel systems like SAP Concur E-Travel 2 and acquisition systems like Unison Prism.
  • Telework options available on a case-by-case basis.
  • Minimum in-office requirement of 4 days per pay period.
