The IT Project Manager will manage complex information system technical projects to provide automated solutions that meet Capital Health's business needs. This role involves ongoing project leadership and planning for assigned system areas, overseeing all aspects of project work to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within constraints of budget, schedule, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Prioritizes multiple projects and issues to ensure concurrence with organizational plans.
  • Monitors progress according to plan, identifying and coordinating resolution of issues.
  • Communicates project status updates to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Analyzes complex processes and workflow analysis.
  • Evaluates impact of present and/or proposed systems on the organization.
  • Develops appropriate system documentation.
  • Manages project scope and implements appropriate procedures.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive project plans for all activities.
  • Coordinates and directs project staff to assure projects are completed within time tables.
  • Prepares and manages timely implementation plans.
  • Leads in conducting system investigation to determine feasibility and alternative solutions.
  • Coordinates vendor demos, site visits, and reference calls.
  • Serves as liaison between business users and developers/vendors.
  • Assists Director with preparation of yearly departmental operating budget.
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in a discipline related to the assigned area.
  • Three to five years implementing and managing Information technology projects.
  • Previous technical analyst or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Networking Concepts and Vendor Management.
  • Strong organizational, project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient understanding of project lifecycle, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience in change management and vendor management.
