About The Position

The IT Project Manager will focus on managing Clinical and Business Systems projects for Nebraska Medicine. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards. The IT Project Manager will lead transformative IT initiatives that drive innovation and enhance operational efficiency, manage project teams responsible for fulfilling enterprise project plans rooted in technology, and achieve all deliverables. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, leading, facilitating, providing status reports, and ensuring stability of project management processes and methodologies. The position requires establishing and implementing project management processes to ensure enterprise projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet assigned expectations. The IT Project Manager will also identify and manage resources required to successfully execute projects, develop and publish project plans, and may serve as a consultant and advisor to leadership and staff in the application of project management tools and methods. Additionally, mentoring Business Analysts to facilitate their career progression is part of the role.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years progressive work experience in project management or business process analysis.
  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, engineering, finance, or related field required.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
  • Epic experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project teams responsible for fulfilling enterprise project plans.
  • Plan, coordinate, lead, and facilitate project management processes.
  • Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies.
  • Identify and manage resources required for project execution.
  • Develop, publish, and execute project plans including SOW, work plans, and budgets.
  • Serve as a consultant and advisor to leadership and staff.
  • Mentor Business Analysts.
