IT Project Manager: Data Analytics

The Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS) is the lead enterprise technology organization for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Charged with driving the ongoing alignment of business and technology across the Commonwealth's Executive Branch, EOTSS oversees and manages the enterprise technology, digital infrastructure and services, as well as the Commonwealth Security Operations Center and an enterprise Standard Operating Environment that includes an information security and risk management framework for over 125 state agencies and over 43,000 state employees. Under the leadership of the Chief Data Officer, the Massachusetts Data Office (MDO) partners with organizations across state government to transform how agencies use data to improve policies, services, and operations and better serve Massachusetts residents. We establish data procedures and policies, streamline data systems, and drive innovation in enterprise-wide data management and analytics. We're responsible for the enterprise data and information strategy and for facilitating data sharing among state agencies and with the public. The MDO is hiring an experienced IT Project Manager: Data Analytics to join our growing Enterprise Analytics team. Enterprise Analytics is a statewide program to help state agencies access and better use data for decision-making. As an IT Project Manager: Data Analytics, you will work to ensure the successful delivery of a coordinated set of data solutions to improve data operability across the Commonwealth. You'll coordinate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions using agile methodologies and modern technologies. You will surface key decisions impacting solution design and development drive their resolution. You will serve as a liaison between technology and business, developing a deep understanding of key datasets and how they are used. You will analyze tradeoffs, issue spots and troubleshoot, and make recommendations to leadership about best paths forward. You will work closely with stakeholders in our partner agencies, as well as our EOTSS technical teams, to ensure that the needs of critical business and technology stakeholders are met through all phases of development and maintenance and set up our state agency partners for long-term success.
