About The Position

M9 Solutions is seeking an IT Project Lead to work on-site in support of a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active TS/SCI clearance is required. The role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of complex IT programs and projects, with a specific focus on integrating and leveraging emerging technologies throughout the organization. This includes leading all development and implementation efforts, acting as the central point of contact when needed.

Requirements

• TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to help build AI knowledge and drive the technical implementation of AI & Emerging Technology solutions.
• Demonstrated experience leading the full lifecycle of IT projects.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and effectively brief executive leadership.
• Experience supporting government investment or acquisition activities and ensuring compliance with IT governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the entire lifecycle of complex IT programs and projects.
• Proactively engages with both internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure project goals are aligned.
• Identifies potential risks early on and implements effective mitigation strategies.
• Regularly briefs executive leadership on project status, critical risks, and upcoming strategic initiatives.
• Has general Government budget and acquisition knowledge to support internal investment projects.
• Defines project scope, develops execution plans, sets milestones, and manages resources.
• Ensures the delivery of high-quality end products and conducts thorough post-project evaluations.
• Ensures quality assurance across the lifecycle of projects in accordance with IT governance frameworks.
• Delivers strategic direction for all projects, prioritizing their effectiveness and viability.
• Applies project management best practices in line with client frameworks and industry standards.
• Creates and executes outreach campaigns and communicates effectively with stakeholders.
