About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Project Coordinator / Project Manager to support cross-functional initiatives within a growing insurance organization. This role bridges business, operations, compliance, and IT—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with regulatory and business objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational discipline with technical fluency and understands how insurance systems, data, and compliance requirements intersect.

Requirements

  • Experience with insurance core systems (Policy Administration, Claims, Billing platforms)
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project, Monday.com)
  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Ability to work with APIs, system integrations, and data migration efforts
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or data reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS) preferred
  • Strong documentation and process-mapping skills (Visio, Lucidchart)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
  • 2–5+ years of project coordination or project management experience
  • Experience within insurance, financial services, or regulated industries preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
  • Highly organized, analytical, and deadline-driven

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end project lifecycles (initiation through closeout)
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Partner with IT, underwriting, claims, compliance, and finance teams
  • Track milestones, manage dependencies, and report executive-level status updates
  • Support system implementations, integrations, and process automation initiatives
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and document requirements (BRDs, FRDs)
  • Ensure projects comply with insurance regulations and internal governance standards
  • Manage vendors and third-party technology partners
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
