About The Position

Provide process design, data analysis, and KPI/KRI reporting to enhance the stability and resiliency of business-critical applications. Lead the requirements gathering process for initiatives of varying size and complexity, ensuring alignment with Production Support operational goals and business objectives. Conduct comprehensive data analysis across Consumer and Small Business Banking business unit to identify, report, and help with stability and resiliency of production environment. Oversee small-scale projects and operational improvement efforts, delivering effective coordination, reporting, and lifecycle management. Serve as a strategic liaison among business units, the Production Support team, and third-party support partners to ensure smooth execution and sustained reliability of production systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or IT, or equivalent education and related training
  • Four years of professional consulting, project analyst or relevant industry experience, with three years of specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, business transformation and change management
  • Strong analytical skills; excellent fact-gathering and business process mapping
  • Self-starter, highly-motivated, change agent Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical data
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) or International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint and Excel graphs to prepare executive level presentations

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key liaison between the Delivery team and Production Support team.
  • Collaborate with peer groups in Technology and LOBs to identify, document and communicate business needs and provide technology solutions.
  • Establish project and work requests requirements using document, business process and workflow analysis. Ensure all stakeholders are involved in requirements gathering activities.
  • Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions and walkthroughs with appropriate stakeholders to plan, elicit, capture, analyze and validate business, functional and technical requirements
  • Perform current state analysis of existing business systems, applications and functions.
  • Prepare user interface diagrams, business process and workflow diagrams in support of small work requests (enhancements) or large scale project implementations.
  • Understand the long-term business objectives and suggest strategies to meet those objectives and introduce technical innovations, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business process owners and other stakeholders to develop acceptance criteria and a plan to facilitate user acceptance testing of a solution that meets the business requirements.
  • Assist/coordinate pre-planning activities (e.g. business case, project estimate, project risk assessment, stakeholder analysis, draft charter).
  • Facilitate routine meetings with business stakeholders to provide updates on in-flight initiatives.
  • Attend business unit management meetings, as needed.
  • Become deeply immersed and knowledgeable about core business functions, processes and workflows associated with assigned business areas and projects.
  • Observe and ensure strict adherence to all Technology and Truist policies and standards (e.g. Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Change Management).
  • Coach and mentor junior level Business Analysts.
  • Design and enhance support processes, perform data analysis, track workflow burndown to meet milestones, and deliver KPI/KRI reporting to improve the stability, resiliency, and performance of business-critical applications.
  • Lead requirements gathering for initiatives of varying scope and complexity, ensuring alignment with Production Support operational objectives and broader business goals.
  • Manage small-scale projects and operational improvement efforts, providing end-to-end coordination, reporting, and lifecycle oversight.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between business units, the Production Support team, and third-party support partners to ensure seamless execution and sustained reliability of production systems.
