About The Position

We are seeking an ERP Programmer/Developer to support, customize, and enhance our Global Shop Solutions (GSS) ERP system. This role is responsible for building automation, integrations, reports, and custom tools that improve operational efficiency across all departments. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented developer with strong SQL skills and experience supporting manufacturing workflows.  This position reports directly to the Information Technology Manager.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience as an ERP Programmer, Software Developer, or related role.
• Strong SQL skills (PSQL experience preferred).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, C#, VBScript, etc.).
• Experience developing custom reports, queries, or data extraction processes.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments, BOM structures, routings, and inventory data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while following technical direction.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Global Shop Solutions (GSS) is highly preferred.
• Experience building dashboards, workflow tools, or automated processes.
• Familiarity with API integrations.
• Experience supporting shop floor, engineering, or quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain applications, scripts, and automation routines within Global Shop Solutions (GSS).
• Build SQL queries, reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data extraction routines.
• Develop integrations between the ERP and other systems.
• Create Custom ERP modules that match business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related technical issues, scripts, and workflow problems.
• Partner with end users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support ERP upgrades, testing, validation, and code adjustments.
• Maintain documentation for programs, workflows, integrations, and technical processes.
• Work with the IT Manager to prioritize workload, follow architectural standards, and deliver projects on schedule.
