About The Position

The position is responsible for the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional programs and large-scale projects that are strategically important to the organization. This role provides leadership across multiple workstreams, manages interdependencies, ensures alignment with business objectives, and drives execution excellence from initiation through delivery and post-implementation stabilization. The position requires strong governance, stakeholder management, financial acumen, and the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels. The position serves as a trusted partner to executive leadership and functional teams, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in project and/or program management, including leadership of large, complex initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs with executive visibility.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies at scale.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex programs and high-visibility projects spanning multiple teams, vendors, and business units.
  • Define program structure, scope, milestones, deliverables, success metrics, and dependency management.
  • Translate strategic objectives into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Manage project lifecycles using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
  • Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, including steering committees, status reporting, and escalation paths.
  • Monitor progress, risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards, compliance requirements, and delivery best practices.
  • Drive disciplined change control and scope management.
  • Partner with executive sponsors, senior leaders, and functional stakeholders to align priorities and expectations.
  • Facilitate decision-making, resolve conflicts, and manage trade-offs across competing initiatives.
  • Deliver clear, concise, and executive-ready communications on program status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and external delivery partners as applicable.
  • Optimize resource allocation across workstreams to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Mentor junior project and program managers; promote consistent delivery practices.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure program outcomes deliver intended business value and benefits.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and lessons learned.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, tools, and governance models.
