About The Position

As a Manager in the Deloitte Technology-US (DT-US) Office of the CIO (OCIO) PMO team, you will leverage leading program and project management practices to enable the delivery of major internal technology programs. This role involves managing the end-to-end project lifecycle for complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. You will also be responsible for driving consistency in project implementation across the organization and mentoring junior PMO team members.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Project/Program Management on large, complex IT initiatives.
  • 3+ years of experience managing full lifecycle SAFe/Agile projects.
  • 1+ year of people management experience overseeing and mentoring other PMs.
  • 3+ years of project/program financial management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Certified SAFe Scrum Master/Release Train Engineers (RTE) or equivalent.
  • Experience managing projects/programs in ServiceNow.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a matrixed professional services firm or consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Drive cross-functional teams in the delivery of high-risk, complex programs/projects.
  • Lead program/project issue/risk management, remediation plans, and escalations across channels.
  • Manage a diverse range of IT projects including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migrations.
  • Develop and demonstrate strong business knowledge of assigned business units/portfolios/products.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and confirm necessary project resources throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build detailed program/project master schedules and promote collaboration through identified team sites.
  • Oversee the activities of other PMO junior resources and offshore teams.
  • Conduct ongoing examination of projects for compliance with established processes and project plans.
  • Maintain oversight and accountability for program performance including key project delivery metrics.
  • Prepare and deliver regular communications/reports/dashboards to stakeholders.
  • Manage and track project/program budget/variance and take corrective actions.
  • Propose changes to project methodologies and promote best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Motivate and lead teams, fostering a mindset of collaboration and continuous process improvement.
