About The Position

The IT Program Manager will lead complex, cross-functional technology programs and projects that support enterprise growth, security, and operational maturity. This role sits within the Infrastructure organization and partners closely with Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, Cloud Engineering, Application Teams, Enterprise Data Management Engineers, Solutions Architecture, Platform Engineering, and business stakeholders across the company. This is a management-level role responsible for driving program strategy, stakeholder alignment, and effective governance—while also performing hands-on project management to ensure successful delivery. Although the position does not include direct people management, the Program Manager is accountable for leading and influencing distributed teams, external vendors, and strategic partners to achieve program outcomes. The ideal candidate excels in program leadership, has a proven track record orchestrating multi-team technology initiative, and can translate strategic objectives into structured, measurable execution plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of IT program or project management experience, preferably in financial services and involving complex technical integrations with cloud platforms and enterprise security.
  • Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, cloud platforms, identity governance (IAM/IGA), and enterprise security concepts.
  • Expertise with project/program methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, PMBOK, ITIL, hybrid).
  • Exceptional communication, executive reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project and portfolio tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceDesk, Confluence, reporting dashboards).
  • Ability to lead without direct authority, influence diverse teams, and drive decisions across complex organizations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Understanding financial services systems, compliance requirements, and security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiyear, multi‑workstream technology programs across Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, Data, Application Development, and enterprise platforms.
  • Translate ambiguous business needs and technical problems into structured program charters, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain program-level roadmaps, governance structures, dashboards, KPI tracking, and executive‑ready reporting.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional alignment through steering committees, program reviews, and dependency management.
  • Plan, execute, and deliver IT projects, including scope definition, timelines, budgets, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation: project plans, RAID logs, status reports, scorecards, and communications.
  • Drive Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies depending on project requirements.
  • Coordinate project intake, prioritization, and portfolio visibility within the Infrastructure department.
  • Partner closely with Infrastructure and Security teams on initiatives such as cloud adoption, identity and access governance, patching/vulnerability remediation, and data protection.
  • Support governance-driven programs—including compliance, audit readiness, risk mitigation, and policy development.
  • Oversee vendor assessments, RFPs, POCs, product evaluations, and SOW negotiations.
  • Serve as the central coordinator between technical teams, business stakeholders, external vendors, and leadership.
  • Facilitate decision-making across departments; identify and escalate risks, issues, and blockers.
  • Prepare and deliver C‑suite level reports, dashboards, and program summaries that communicate progress, risks, and financial impact.
  • Manage third‑party technology partners and service providers to ensure alignment, accountability, and performance.
  • Oversee contract compliance, deliverables, runbooks, and integration of vendor solutions.
  • Support onboarding and operationalization of new tools and platforms.
