About The Position

The IT Professional I will u nder general supervision, be responsible for many aspects of the company’s information technology infrastructure and supporting the company’s internal resources that rely upon that infrastructure. The position is a generalist focusing on end-user support and less complex IT infrastructure duties.

Requirements

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and MS Active Directory.
  • Two of the three certifications listed below: A+ Network+ MCP
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Personable, empathetic and ability to diffuse a situation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides end-user support using the ticketing system to track and document requests.
  • Sets up and installs PCs and desk telephones for new hires.
  • Assist with MFA setup for new hires.
  • Managing and maintaining the file servers
  • Active Directory Management: Creates Active Directory and email accounts for team members.
  • Adds and removes users to and from Active Directory groups.
  • Installation and Troubleshooting: Performs software and computer hardware installation including Coax/Cat 5/6 cabling.
  • Troubleshoots video conference system.
  • Troubleshoots computer hardware and performs basic repairs.
