About The Position
The IT Product Owner at Tokio Marine HCC is a pivotal role that combines leadership, strategic vision, and a passion for technology within the specialty insurance industry. The IT Product Owner will be responsible for advocating for the IT product and the business, ensuring that the needs of customers, partners, and internal stakeholders are met. This role requires a strong commitment to collaboration and communication, as the Product Owner will work closely with Agile teams to share their vision, articulate detailed work items, and participate actively in Scrum ceremonies. In this role, you will support the engineering team by managing software development details to exceed stakeholder expectations. You will collaborate with IT Product leadership to formulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, motivating your Agile team by clearly communicating both long-term and short-term goals. As the IT Product Owner, you will be responsible for evaluating input from stakeholders, prioritizing requests based on technical and business considerations, and proactively monitoring product performance to identify and address issues. Your responsibilities will include authoring epics, stories, and tasks with clear acceptance criteria, coordinating with other departments to identify dependencies, and reviewing data to monitor product health across various channels. The ultimate goal is to continuously seek improvements that enhance customer satisfaction, add value, reduce costs, and increase productivity. This role is not just about managing a product; it’s about driving change and innovation within the organization, ensuring that Tokio Marine HCC remains a leader in the insurance industry.
