About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a Product Owner. OnTrac, founded in 1986, has evolved into the leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services in the U.S. for premier e-commerce and product-supply businesses. The Product Owner partners with Product Management and cross-functional teams to translate business needs and stakeholder priorities into a clear, actionable product backlog. Working in a fast-paced Agile environment, this role helps ensure teams build the right features in the right order, balancing business value, user needs, and technical considerations. This position offers strong opportunity for growth and advancement within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and experience working in an Agile environment, preferably as a Product Owner or in a related role
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps
• Knowledge in UI/UX
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Partner on product direction: Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand and execute against the broader product vision and roadmap.
• Translate strategy into action: Break down high-level product strategy into clear, well-defined backlog items.
• Own backlog quality and priority: Refine, prioritize, and manage the product backlog to maximize team output and customer value.
• Define clear requirements: Write high-quality user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria that support effective delivery.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with engineering, QA, design, and other partners to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
• Represent the user: Maintain a strong understanding of user personas, workflows, and needs to guide product decisions.
